Do you have a maximum amount of hours you will shoot on a wedding day?No, I believe to tell the full story of the day full day coverage is best, this is why all my packages include full day coverage up to your first dance and slightly beyond. However if you would like something less or something more I am always happy to accommodate your needs and wants.
-
How do you handle the family and group shots?I usually ask before the wedding date to nominate one of your wedding party who is familiar with both families or at least one side of the family and friends to help me round people up so this section of the day doesn't last too long, most weddings at this point guest are hungry and would like a drink which I am fully aware and understanding of.
-
Do you have a back up plan if equipment fails?I own two cameras both with duel memory slots. Each camera will write the photos I take simultaneously to both memory card slots in the camera.
-
If you are the only wedding photographer how will you capture the bride and groom getting ready in different places?Where the couple is getting ready in different places I will usually do the groom first and we will put the suit on and get ready earlier and then if the groom would like to change back out in to comfortable clothes there is time to do this. I would then head over to the bride who would usually be about half way through getting ready and I would then stay with the bride for finishing touches, details and then follow the bride to the ceremony. However I can adapt to whatever plan you may have for you wedding day.
-
Do you stay until the very end for carriages? No, I will leave anywhere between 15 minute after you first dance to 1 hour after you first dance depending on what package you have. Usually after the first dance many photos will come out the same on the dance floor and often people will be more relaxed to have a boogie and a drink once the photographer has left. However if this is something you would like it can be added on for an additional cost.
-
What is your photography style?I would consider my photography style to be photojournalistic, capturing the candid and real moments that you are not posing for. That being said I always will add certain shots in if this is what you would require, for example, the family portraits or if you would prefer more posed couple shots this is something that can be done.
-
